Environmental Engineering has always been a significant part of the service provided by Fraser Thomas.

We have specialist skills in water and wastewater engineering, particularly for small and medium sized towns, with some 17 different municipal water supply projects and 20 complete municipal sewerage projects to our credit.

Fraser Thomas have introduced a number of different technologies to New Zealand including anaerobic and milliscreening treatment of municipal waste, wetland treatment of sewage, irrigation of municipal effluent to forests and modified conventional reticulation systems. Innovative new projects include work in Decentralised Sewerage, reuse and recycling and Low Impact, Water Sensitive Urban Design.
