Fraser Thomas were engaged to provide survey services for the construction phase of the project to
setout fourteen new buildings and retaining wall cut batters.
Accurate setout of the design features would enable the contractors to progress the project without delay.
Survey services were provided for site works and for the construction of the new dwellings.
Due to the site gradients, significant cuts were required along the internal boundaries. These were
accurately set out and checked to ensure that the retaining walls within the dwellings would match the proposed boundary
layout. On completion of each site cut the proposed dwellings were setout.
A two tier retaining wall system was used along the road frontage to avoid unsightly large walls.
Prior to floors being poured, and on completion of the dwelling, certifications were required to
ensure height to boundary tolerances were being met.
